Patrick Rice
I coach every session myself. With teens, my focus is simple: teach good technique and good habits, and let them see what they're capable of.
A lot of teens come in quiet and unsure of themselves. Getting stronger changes that.

Is lifting safe for teenagers?
Yes, when it's properly coached. Supervised strength training is widely recognized as safe and beneficial for teens. Technique always comes before heavy weight.
Will lifting stunt growth?
No. That's a long-standing myth. Properly coached strength training doesn't stunt growth.
My teen has never lifted. Is that OK?
Absolutely. Most teens start with no experience. Every movement is taught step by step.

Yes. It's a private gym with no crowds, and sessions are 1-on-1 or with a friend. Most nervous teens relax within the first session.
