Your coach

Patrick Rice

I compete in powerlifting and strongman myself and coach lifters from beginners to competitors. Heavy barbell training is what this gym is built for.

I write every program around the lifter in front of me and coach every set.

Do I need to compete to train powerlifting?

No. Many lifters train the squat, bench and deadlift just to get stronger. Competing is optional.

Yes. We build your training toward meet day, practice commands and plan your attempts.

I'm a beginner. Is powerlifting for me?

Yes. We start with technique and build from there. Everyone starts somewhere.

Do you offer online powerlifting coaching?

Yes. Online coaching with Patrick includes a program in the Atlas Strength app, video form review and check-ins.

What equipment do you have?

Racks, barbells, specialty bars, heavy plates and dumbbells, plus a full strongman setup.

Can I combine powerlifting and strongman?

Yes. Many lifters train both. They build on each other.
