High school athletes

Garden City High
and Chaminade athletes

Plenty of Garden City kids play for Garden City High or Chaminade. Either way, the off-season is where you get stronger, faster and harder to hurt. I coach athletes 1-on-1 or in a small group you bring, and I've trained local football and wrestling teams. Sports performance training →

Your coach

Patrick Rice

I coach everyone from high school athletes to adults in their 60s. Everyone gets coached the same way: carefully, and built around them.

I've coached at Atlas Strength since 2015, hold a BS in Kinesiology from SUNY Cortland and still compete in strongman myself.

Questions

FAQ

Anything else? Call or text (516) 524-3420.

How far is Atlas Strength from Garden City?

About 10 minutes north, depending on traffic. The gym is at 558 Westbury Ave in Carle Place. Most people come up Clinton Road, which turns into Glen Cove Road at Old Country Road.

Can I train while my kids are at school?

Yes. Sessions are by appointment, and late morning to early afternoon is the easiest time to get a spot. Daytime sessions are fully private.

Do you train Garden City High and Chaminade athletes?

Yes. I coach high school athletes from around the area year-round, 1-on-1 or in a small group you bring. In season we keep you strong and healthy, and the off-season is where the big gains happen.

Can my spouse and I train together?

Yes. Semi-private training is for 2 to 4 people you bring with you. Each person pays a lower rate than 1-on-1.

How much does training cost?

It depends on how often you train and which option you choose. Semi-private training with a friend, the Hybrid Training Program and online coaching all cost less than 1-on-1. I'll go over exact pricing at your meeting, with no pressure and no contracts.

Will other people be in the gym during my session?

No. Daytime 1-on-1 sessions are fully private: just you and your coach, nobody else in the gym. Evenings (7 to 9 pm) can have Hybrid Training and open gym members training too.

Can I train with you online if I can't make it in?

Yes. Online coaching with Patrick is delivered through the Atlas Strength app, with a program built for you and regular check-ins with me.
