Sports
Built around
your season
Off-season builds it. In-season keeps it. Every program changes as your season does.
For football players
Bigger, faster, harder to hit.
Off-season work to build strength, size and speed, then in-season training that keeps players strong through the last game instead of breaking down. Sled pushes, carries and sprints on the turf, plus neck, shoulder and hamstring work to help keep players on the field.
For wrestlers
Get strong. Make weight the right way.
Strength and conditioning built for the mat, plus a smart plan for making weight. Wrestlers learn to manage their weight through the season with good nutrition and training, not crash diets or last-minute dehydration, so they step on the mat strong instead of drained.
For every other sport
Strength carries over.
Any sport that rewards power, speed and staying healthy. We train the qualities your sport needs: acceleration, jumping, change of direction, grip and a body that holds up to a full season.
On the turf
Power, speed
and strength
Jumps, sprints, sleds and lifts, built around your sport.

Your coach
Patrick Rice
I have a BS in Kinesiology from SUNY Cortland and I compete in strongman myself, so I know what it takes to prepare for a meet, a match or a game.
I coach every session personally. Athletes learn to move well first, because good technique is what lets you train hard for years without getting hurt.
Client results
In their words
Real reviews from people who trained for something specific.
“I started training in January 2025 for my fitness test for the U.S. Service Academies in June. Because of his training, I was able to max out my push-ups and build strength in every category.”
“I went to Pat because I was looking to compete in strongman after not competing for ~5yrs. He was a tremendous help with getting my technique dialed in and getting competition ready.”
“I came in dealing with some right shoulder issues, and instead of just having me push through pain or avoid certain movements altogether, he took the time to show me different techniques and modifications… That level of personalized attention and knowledge is hard to find at most gyms.”
Questions
FAQ
Anything else? Call or text (516) 524-3420.
Is lifting safe for high school athletes?
Yes, when it's coached. Supervised strength training is one of the best ways to make young athletes more resilient. Every athlete learns technique first and earns heavier weight.
Should athletes keep training during the season?
Yes. A shorter in-season program keeps the strength and speed built in the off-season, so athletes stay strong through the last game instead of breaking down.
Do you train whole teams?
Yes. I work with high school teams and groups at different points in the year. Coaches and parents can reach out to set up a session.
Can you help wrestlers make weight?
Yes. Wrestlers learn to manage weight through the season with good nutrition and training, not crash diets or last-minute dehydration, so they step on the mat strong.
Is the program specific to my sport?
Yes. Your program is built around your sport, position, schedule and where you are in the season, and it changes as the season does.
